“Salami” is a series of wooden sculptures created for the project “Vegham” at Ettore Mildwin Art Gallery that transforms traditional cured meats into plant-based counterparts, food rendered entirely in wood. In this series, salamis of various dimensions and weights are carved from olive, silver birch, and red birch, each wood chosen for its distinct grain, tone and texture.
