“Angel” is a circular wooden sculpture shaped and revealed through attentive brushing and carving. The artist followed the natural grain of the spruce, allowing the material itself to guide the form.

In the centre, two knots subtly suggest the beginnings of wings. From these focal points, grooves were gently cut using gouge and brush, flowing downward like feathers or folds of a robe, creating a vertical rhythm that evokes a serene, ascending figure.
